Safety of diamorphine in overdosageBloomsbury Support Team, National Temperance Hospital, London Two case histories of patients given accidental therapeutic overdoses of diamorphine are presented. The use of antagonist drugs was not required, nor did either patient suffer any serious unwanted effects. This demonstrates the safety of diamorphine in patients with previous recent exposure to this drug.
