A review of dysphagia in four cases of motor neurone diseaseSpeech Pathology Department, Bethlehem Hospital, Victoria
Speech Pathology Department, Bethlehem Hospital, Victoria Dysphagia is a common and distressing problem in motor neurone disease. This paper examines some of the strategies available for managing patients with dysphagia, and illustrates these with four contrasting case histories. The factors which influence the decision making process in patients with dysphagia are also discussed.
